As the Cubs prepare for a four-game series in Los Angeles with the Dodgers, we’ve got a little bit of shuffling in the bullpen to deal with. Carl Edwards Jr. has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a left thoracic (upper back muscle) strain. Left-hander Tim Collins has been recalled from AAA Iowa to take his place.

Obviously any injury news is never welcome, but this comes at a particularly frustrating time for Edwards.
