Cubs backup catcher Robinson Chirinois suffered what appeared to be an oblique injury on this swing during Wednesday’s game [VIDEO].
Chirinos had to leave the game in the middle of that at-bat.
Friday, the Cubs placed him on the 10-day injured list and outfielder Greg Deichmann was recalled from Triple-A Iowa.
