Luis Vázquez, a Cubs shortstop prospect, has been recalled by the team from Triple-A Iowa, according to multiple online reports.
This appears to be the roster move for Vázquez:
Cubs DFA David Bote to make room on the 40-man roster. They claimed RHP Gavin Hollowell from Arizona, option him to Triple-A Iowa.

There’s no official word on Vázquez yet, but given this move and the earlier reports, logical conclusions have been drawn.
Vazquez appeared in two games for the Cubs earlier this year.
