Cubs roster move: Brandon Morrow to DL, Justin Hancock stays

Brandon Morrow hurt his back when returning from St. Louis Sunday night, supposedly when taking his pants off -- hey, I don't make ‘em up, I just write ‘em -- and now he'll get a 10-day break:

Justin Hancock was called up to be the 26th man for Tuesday's second game, and now he'll be around for a while. In Morrow's absence, Steve Cishek, Pedro Strop, Justin Wilson or even Hancock could close games.

Honestly, it's not a bad idea to give Morrow a break for a while now, to have him healthy down the stretch and in the postseason.
