The Cubs acquired Brandon Kintzler from the Nationals before Tuesday’s non-waiver deadline, and now he’s been added to the active 25-man roster and will be available for tonight’s game against the Pirates:

Randy Rosario has pitched reasonably well for the Cubs. In 26 outings covering 32 innings he has a 1.97 ERA, but a 1.344 WHIP due to 16 walks. Many of the innings he was throwing will now be covered by guys like Steve Cishek, Justin Wilson and Brian Duensing.
