Cubs roster move: Austin Romine to injured list, Tony Wolters added from alternate site

Austin Romine missed much of spring training with a knee injury and was just returned to the active roster 12 days ago.

Now, he’s suffered another injury:

Cubs place catcher Austin Romine on the 10-day IL with a left wrist sprain and select Tony Wolters from the alt site.

To make room for Wolters on the 40-man roster, RHP Jonathan Holder has been transferred to the 60-day IL.

Trevor Megill, a righthanded reliever, was added to the 40-man and 26-man active rosters earlier Monday.
