In case you missed it earlier in the month, MLB Network’s Sean Casey provided an excellent breakdown of Jason Heyward’s 2016 swing and compared it to the adjustments he’s working to adopt. Casey pointed out that Heyward, with his back foot nailed down, was susceptible to pulling the ball weakly. Indeed, this is what we saw far too often last season.
