Cubs pitcher Jeremy Jeffress feeds coronavirus healthcare workers with food truck

New Cubs relief pitcher Jeremy Jeffress gave back to healthcare workers this week by bringing a taste of the East Coast to Arizona.

Jeffress drove his food truck, JJ’s Bread and Butter, to Banner Health in Arizona to feed the healthcare providers who work there.

Jeffress has lived in Arizona for nearly a decade, and said Banner Health is particularly important to him, as they’ve helped treat Jeffress’s epilepsy.

“Just to help these guys out and show my appreciation for what they’re doing,” Jeffress said. “Because I know that they’re stuck in there all day helping these people out with their coronavirus, and stuff like that, whatever the case may be.
