I didn’t realize when I researched this series that I had written up this very game as part of a different series during baseball’s hiatus last spring.
In reading over that article, I didn’t find anything I wrote just five months ago that I felt I could re-write better now.
So, I will commend you to reading that one for a description of how Alex Avila’s two-run single off Blue Jays closer Roberto Osuna won the game over the Jays 5-4 and completed a series sweep.
