There's nothing like hearing Wrigley Field's organ blaring on gameday. Fans were spoiled from 1987-2019, when Gary Pressy manned the post and didn't miss a single game.
Pressey retired after last season, and although there's no baseball right now, the Cubs are giving the Wrigleyville faithful a taste of what's to come on Friday.
On a Thursday conference call with season ticket holders, the Cubs announced one of their three new organists will play at Wrigley from 5-6 p.m. on Friday.
Awesome.
Now, for all the fans who don't live in Wrigleyville: If you decide to get out of the house and take in some of the music, remember to practice social-distancing.
