Friday, in addition to other deadlines, was the deadline for teams to restore players to the 40-man roster who were on the 60-day disabled list at the end of the 2018 season.
And so, the Cubs did that, along with a flurry of other roster moves:

So, the four 60-day DL players (Yu Darvish, Brandon Morrow, Justin Hancock and Mark Zagunis) are back on the 40-man.
