Jesse Roger: I don’t think there’s any doubt the Cubs will be on the lookout for a lefty specialist for the bullpen. Clayton Richard and Travis Wood just aren’t those guys. We’ve seen the Cubs avoid a tough lefty in a key spot (Bryce Harper) or get beat by one (Matt Adams off Wood). And right now Richard is having problems getting outs even in low-leverage situations. I’d be shocked if a move for a lefty wasn’t made by July 31.
