CHICAGO (AP) -- Cubs left-hander Tsuyoshi Wada was removed from his start against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday night with cramping in the back of his left arm.
Wada gave up a leadoff homer to Kike Hernandez and a single by A.J. Ellis before he was replaced by Travis Wood with no outs in the third inning of Chicago's 4-2 victory.
The team said Wada had cramping in his left deltoid muscle and will be evaluated again Tuesday. Wada said after the game through a translator that he felt fine and hoped to take his next turn in the rotation.
