CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs have invited the following 24 non-roster players to major league spring training, which begins Tuesday, February 14 when pitchers and catchers are invited to report in advance of their first formal workout on Wednesday, February 15 at the club’s Under Armour Performance Center in Mesa, Ariz.
Position players are invited to report to camp Friday, February 17 with the team’s first full squad workout Saturday, February 18.
The following 14 pitchers have been invited to major league camp: right-handed pitchers Andury Acevedo, Maikel Cleto, Daniel Corcino, James Farris, Seth Frankoff, Jim Henderson, Casey Kelly, Jhondaniel Medina, Conor Mullee, Fernando Rodriguez and Ryan Williams, as well as left-handed pitchers Gerardo Concepcion, Manny Parra and Zac Rosscup.
