You’ll soon be able to see Ian Happ and the Cubs take the field and play some baseball…virtually.
Happ is one of 30 big leaguers participating in the new “MLB The Show Players League.” Starting Friday, each player will compete in 29 games — one against every other participant — over the next three weeks.
Each game will be three innings, allowing Happ and others to play multiple a day. They’ll be broadcast live on MLB’s Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Twitch pages (as well as MLB The Show's) — and each club’s social platforms.
Players will also live stream themselves through their own YouTube or Twitch channels.
