CLEVELAND — The Cubs reshuffled their bullpen pieces again on Wednesday, placing lefty Zac Rosscup on the disabled list with shoulder inflammation and calling up right-hander Yoervis Medina from Triple-A Iowa.
The Cubs will get an up-close look at Medina, who was acquired from the Seattle Mariners in last month’s Welington Castillo trade and will be available for Wednesday night’s game against the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field.

The Cubs hope a change of scenery will help Medina, 26, the same way it once benefitted hard-throwing reliever Pedro Strop after a trade from the Baltimore Orioles.
