I’m going to pause the “Cubs target” series next week during the Winter Meetings, because I figure there will be enough baseball news to discuss here, as well as potentially some Cubs signings and/or trades.
I did want to make one post in this series heading into the weekend about a lefthander who might be a bit under-the-radar, but someone who might really be a big help to the Cubs bullpen.
Brent Suter has been a quality lefthanded reliever in the National League since 2016. After trying him first as a starter, the Brewers deployed him quite successfully as a reliever from 2019-22.
