CHICAGO -- The Brewers did not leave Wrigley Field quietly.
Curtis Granderson had three hits, including a solo homer, and scored three runs to spark the Brewers to a 5-1 victory Wednesday night over the Cubs, pulling within one game of the National League Central leaders.
This was the last regular-season meeting between the teams, who could face off again in the National League Division Series. Still to be determined is whether the Cubs will repeat as NL Central champs.
Kyle Hendricks started for the Cubs and gave up two runs over five innings.
