Back from the Major League All-Star break, pitching took the forefront to end the week. Prospect Oscar De La Cruz returned to the field in Arizona, and Alfredo Colorado went the distance for the DSL-2 Cubs. Justin Steele returned to form with South Bend, while Ryan McNeil notched his 13th save for Myrtle Beach. Rob Zastryzny had to leave the game for Iowa, but the organization received good news about Joe Nathan.
