Looks like Cubs players are going to have a nice holiday season.
Following a trip to the NLCS, the Cubs are handing out 60 full playoff shares.
That's the highest total in Major League Baseball history and each full share is worth $122,327.59 coming from a record-high MLB players' pool of $69.8 million. The previous players' pool was $65.3 million in 2012.

The Cubs are also handing out 8.25 partial shares and 13 cash awards.
Here is how the shares were calculated, per MLB:
The players' pool is formed from 50 percent of the gate receipts from the Wild Card Games presented by Budweiser; 60 percent of the gate receipts from the first three games of the Division Series; 60 percent of the gate receipts from the first four games of the League Championship Series; and 60 percent of the gate receipts from the first four games of the World Series.
