Cubs add C Victor Caratini, OF Jacob Hannemann, LHP Jack Leathersich, RHP Duane Underwood Jr. to 40-Man Roster
Friday was the deadline for teams to add players to the 40-man roster to protect them from the Rule 5 Draft. The Cubs selected the contracts of C Victor Caratini, OF Jacob Hannemann, LHP Jack Leathersich and RHP Duane Underwood Jr. and those four players have been placed on the 40-man roster.
With Friday’s roster moves, the Cubs’ 40-man roster officially stands at 39 players.
