Man, this really sucks. Not the Seiya Suzuki part, of course, but the way their primary players keep getting hurt.
The Chicago Cubs today activated outfielder Seiya Suzuki from the 10-day injured list and placed infielder Dansby Swanson on the 10-day injured list (retro to May 8) with a right knee sprain.
Suzuki, 29, was placed on the injured list April 15 with a right oblique strain. In 15 games with the Cubs this season prior to his injured list stint, Suzuki batted .305 (18-for-59) with four doubles, three home runs and 13 RBI, reaching safely in 13 of those games.
