Kyle Hendricks has had a rough season. There have been a few good starts, but also games where he’s just got hit really hard. This might wind up being his last MLB season.
This was one of the good ones, in fact, one of The Professor’s best of 2024 — and in a ballpark where it’s easy to get lit up. Kyle threw six innings, allowed two hits and one run and struck out seven. That, along with two monster homers by Michael Busch, gave the Cubs a win in the final game of the series over the Rockies, 6-2.
