After Saturday’s debacle, the way Sunday’s game began did not put any Cubs fan in a good mood. They stranded RISP in the second inning, then Justin Steele made one bad pitch to Masyn Winn with a runner on and the Cardinals led 2-0.
Thankfully, the Cubs played the rest of the game the way they played the first two in this series and came out with a 6-2 win, taking the set three games to one.
The Cubs tied the game up in the fourth inning. With one out, Isaac Paredes singled and Mike Tauchman doubled him to third.
