One thing I think everyone here can agree on at this point: Hector Neris must be removed from the closer role.
Believe it or not, Friday’s was just Neris’ fifth blown save of the year, but it blew up a nicely-played game and forced extra innings. Fortunately, Tyson Miller got through the top of the 10th scoreless and Seiya Suzuki’s walkoff RBI single gave the Cubs a 6-5 win.
