The Cubs got good pitching and bad pitching, timely hitting and times you wanted to rip your hair out because they didn’t, and in the end held on for a 5-4, 10-inning win over the Pirates. Combined with the Brewers’ 4-3 loss to the Cardinals Sunday, the Cubs move back to within half a game of first place.
