Cubs 3, Brewers 1: Joc Pederson’s homer leads the Cubs to victory

The Cubs had just six hits in Saturday’s game, but one of them was a two-run homer by Joc Pederson (oppo, his second of the spring) and that was all the Cubs would need in a 3-1 win over the Brewers.

Shelby Miller threw two decent innings, though he was touched up for a run in the second. Miller’s not going to make this team, but if healthy, he will provide useful starting pitching depth at Iowa. I suspect, as an MLB veteran, he’d go to Iowa with an opt-out in case the Cubs don’t call him up by a certain date.
