The Cubs and Dodgers looked like they would be locked in a classic pitcher’s duel for the first five innings of this game. Ben Brown and Roki Sasaki were both dealing, and both teams flashed some glove over the first five innings.
Then the Cubs bats exploded after Sasaki was removed, and Cubs pitchers limited the Dodgers to six hits in a 16-0 blowout win, on 21 hits.
