The Cubs’ unbeaten streak is getting a bit crazy.
Eight wins, three ties, 11 Cactus League games without a loss... ultimately meaningless, but the team’s playing well, hitters are hitting, pitchers are pitching. The complaint department is definitely closed.
The Cubs swept their split-squad “doubleheader” Saturday, finishing up with an 11-1 demolition of the Royals.
Hitting stars:
- Michael Busch went 3-for-4, including a double and a triple, and scored twice.
