Cubs 10, Dodgers 4: Michael Busch bites the hand that once fed him

Michael Busch, who the Cubs acquired over the winter from the Dodgers for prospects Jackson Ferris and Zyhir Hope, has been in a terrible slump over the last few weeks.

Perhaps the desire to show the Dodgers what they gave up helped Busch break out of that. He homered, had two RBI singles and also doubled in the Cubs’ 10-4 win over the Dodgers in the first of a three-game series. It was the second four-hit game for Busch this year (also July 9 at Baltimore).

The Cubs wasted no time getting on the board against Walker Buehler.
