2018 was pretty bogus overall, in my world. There were bright spots...very bright indeed, but ultimately only oases, not unlike the bright spots of the 2018 Cubs season. The end wasn’t what was expected. But at least none of my pets died during the holidays this year, so I got that going for me... and we all gained character if the old axiom is true.
The Cubs’ season ended with a thud and the reverberations continue to this day. 2016 is a heavy weight for some to carry. It’s kinda the same. Work with me here.
