Craig Counsell didn’t beat around the bush in laying out his expectations for Ben Brown after the Cubs righty was tagged for six runs in a 10-4 loss to the Phillies on Saturday.
Brown made another early exit when the fourth inning quickly went south. He hit the inning’s first batter with a pitch before the Phillies started a conga line with four straight singles, a sacrifice fly and a two-out, two-run double by Bryce Harper.
