CI Recap (5/11/18) – Cubs 11, White Sox 2: Will-son To Win

The Cubs looked to extend their winning streak to four games against a struggling White Sox team Friday. It became clear quickly that they would have very little problem achieving that goal. Sox starter Carson Fulmer didn’t have it, and the Northsiders didn’t look back after taking the early lead.

Willson Contreras had a huge game on his bobblehead day, with two doubles, two homers and seven RBI. Kris Bryant also went deep and was on base most of the afternoon. Tyler Chatwood had his typical wild, yet mostly effective outing over five innings. The Cubs kept adding on and cruised to another comfortable victory.
