The start of the Cubs game against the White Sox at Wrigley Field Tuesday appeared like it would be another disaster for the home side, as they fell into a 5-0 hole after four innings. Things seemed to flip after a short rain delay, however, and the North Siders stormed back to eventually grab an unlikely 7-6 victory.
Shu014dta Imanaga appeared much sharper than his last outing, with five early strikeouts. The wheels came off in the top of the 4th with the help of some shaky defense from third baseman Christopher Morel.
Morel couldn’t come up with a backhanded attempt on a grounder that should have become a double play.
