The Cubs and Phillies got together in the rubber match of their series at a chilly Wrigley Field Sunday night. Runs were hard to come by all night long, and, unfortunately for Chicago, Philadelphia produced a couple of tallies in extra innings to grab the win.
The North Siders used a two-out rally to grab a 1-0 lead on Aaron Nola in the 2nd inning. Nico Hoerner hit a blooper that fell between a couple of Phillies defenders for a double. Pete Crow-Armstrong followed with a harder hit RBI double to score Hoerner.
