The Cubs traveled to Camelback Ranch to battle the White Sox on a soggy Friday afternoon. The game was delayed and eventually shortened by rain and it was a largely uneventful contest that the North Siders lost by one.
Brennen Davis, back in the lineup after missing time with a concussion, hit an RBI double followed by a Miles Mastrobuoni two-bagger that put the Cubs up 2-0 in the top of the 2nd inning. The White Sox came right back on Jordan Wicks in the bottom of the frame when the always annoying Paul DeJong hit a game-tying two-run homer.
