The Cubs kept on winning Tuesday afternoon at Sloan Park against the Diamondbacks, literally running their record to 6-0. Pete Crow-Armstrong was the difference maker in this one, using his legs to create the go-ahead run.
Jameson Taillon made his first start of the spring and gave up a 2nd-inning home run to Geraldo Perdomo to give Arizona a 1-0 advantage. The road team pushed across another tally in the top of the 5th to make it 2-0.
Chicago evened the score in the bottom of the frame when Carson Kelly and Vidal Bruján hit back-to-back home runs off of Kyle Nelson.
