With the Major League Draft just days away, it’s being reported by Bleacher Nation that the Chicago Cubs do, in fact, have serious interest in Cuban prospect, Eddy Julio Martinez.

The news does come as a surprise with all the talent this organization has within its farm system, but it’s always a plus if you’re able to land the top defectors available.
There’s no telling who Martinez will end up signing with when it’s all said and done – hopefully, he understand the direction in which this club is going to land on the North Side of Chicago.
