The Chicago Cubs released their 2020 Spring Training broadcast schedule today. As expected, we’ll be seeing a lot more games on televised broadcasts compared to previous years. There’s only five split squad games that will not be televised.
Of course, what you actually end up viewing is largely dependent on when Marquee Sports Network enters into carriage agreements with carriers like Xfinity in the Chicago area. You may recall Tom Ricketts getting booed during Cubs Convention this year by upset Cubs fans who are concerned about these carriage agreements.
Here’s the full press release along with the broadcast schedule.
