Chicago Cubs fans know that Sammy Sosa was a wildly popular player with the team back in the late 1990s and early 2000s for all the history he made while playing for the team. Fans also know that the breakup between the two in 2004 was not pleasant, and the wounds are still wide open today.
On Sunday, the Chicago White Sox finished off a 5-1 season against the Cubs with a 13-1 thumping on the South Side and former White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen felt it an appropriate time – as if our fans needed anything else to be upset about – to remind everyone of the rift between the two sides, making it clear which side he is on:
