Last season, an early injury to the Chicago Cubs‘ Kyle Schwarber forced Joe Maddon to be creative in the field. That led to one of the best defensive team’s the Cubs have ever seen. This season has been status quo, very little changes in the lineup. The offense–and defense–is struggling. If it wasn’t broke, why did we “fix” it? Maybe it’s time the Cubs go back to what worked last year.
