Chicago Cubs news: Manager David Ross, team president Jed Hoyer both test positive for COVID-19

Cubs manager David Ross and team president Jed Hoyer have both tested positive for COVID-19. According to CDC and MLB protocols, both men will isolate for ten days. Bench coach Andy Green will manage the Cubs while Ross is out.

Both men had been fully vaccinated.

There were no other positive tests on the Cubs for now, which means that the infection has not spread to any of the players or any other members of the front office.

Today’s game with the Pirates will continue as scheduled with Green managing.
