Everyone, breathe. The Chicago Cubs‘ Kris Bryant returns to action today against the Milwaukee Brewers. It was six days ago that Bryant took a German Marquez fastball to the head, keeping him out until today. He passed all the concussion protocols and had a small mark from where the ball hit his glasses.
It was starting to become a concern why Bryant hadn’t returned to the lineup. Maybe he just wanted the mark from where the ball hit his glasses to heal? I’m kidding, of course. The man took a 96-mph fastball to the face.
