Dexter Fowler only spent two years with the Chicago Cubs but he made an indelible impression. The Cardinals returned to start a three-game series on Friday and Fowler was presented with his ring from teammates. His play and his personality made him one of the favorites of fans and teammates, and many were sad to see him go. We’re always happy to see him do well when the outcome is as it was yesterday.
The Cubs’ offense still wasn’t at 100% effectiveness but did what it needed to in the 3-2 win over the Cardinals.
