Chicago Cubs News: Cubs even series with Sox; Bryant ejected

The Chicago Cubs had a little bit of everything on Tuesday. Home runs, strikeouts (a lot of them), and even a Kris Bryant ejection. The Cubs won the contest 7-2, as a Willson Contreras three-run home run was the highlight of the game–minus John Lackey hitting some batters and Bryant being tossed in the fourth for arguing balls and strikes.

Every starter for the Cubs struck out at least one, with Javier Baez having the roughest day. Baez struck out five times on the afternoon. In his defense, the umpires strike zone was at best lousy.
