When the Chicago Cubs get hot, it seems that every other team gets hot with them. But if they finally have a hiccup, the competition jumps on the chance to gain ground. The Brewers got a strong start from Zach Davies who stifled the potent Cubs offense, and the bullpen followed suit by doing the same. Kyle Hendricks pitched well enough to win, but the offensive support just wasn’t there.
