Just as a heads-up, Cade Horton is scheduled to pitch for Iowa tomorrow (Friday).
A whole lotta rain today. But also some baseball.
The Iowa Cubs were boarded and seized by the Columbus Clippers (Guardians), 6-4 in ten innings.
The I-Cubs wasted a strong start from Thomas Pannone. Pannone gave up just one run on four hits over six innings. He struck out seven and walked no one.
The Clippers tied it up with two unearned runs in the eighth inning on two errors while Porter Hodge was on the mound.
