Dallas Beeler gave up three runs in the first inning, but settled down mostly after that. Beeler got the win after allowing five runs, four earned, on 11 hits over 5.2 innings. Beeler struck out four and walked one. He also hit a two-run single in the sixth inning.
Brian Schlitter pitched a perfect ninth for his 15th save. He struck out two.
Center fielder John Andreoli was 2 for 4 with a double, a triple and a walk.
