I sure picked a good night to not watch the Cubs and spend the evening with my family.

Starter Tyson Miller got the win after giving up just one run on six hits over 5.1 innings. Miller did walk five batters (which isn’t good) and he struck out five (which is good).
Second baseman Zack Short was the second batter in the bottom of the first inning and he hit a two-run home run. It was Short’s sixth home run of the year. Short also doubled in a 2 for 5 game.
