I went to the ballpark for the first time all season tonight, so I was going to tell you that I couldn’t tell you much about the Cubs system but if you wanted to know something about the Nationals or Athletics system, I have some thoughts. But it turns out, I barely missed anything.
Iowa Cubs
Starter Colin Rea went six innings and allowed three runs on seven hits, including one solo home run. Rea struck out four and did not walk anyone.
Brian Duensing took over for Rea in the seventh and gave up a run to tie the game at 4-4.
